Posted by Heather on June 12, 2011 at 5:59 PM

I thought I would post two imporant videos from beloved Father Malachi Martin on the important subject of Fatima Here is Part I Father Martin also touches in the Prophecy of the popes Máel Máedoc Úa Morgair that is his name in Irish Gaelic latinized its Saint Malachy. If you are not familiarwith the prophecy of the popes in Saint Malachy's vision God showed unto him all future popes Pope Benedict is the next to last pope, the final pope will be known as peter the roman and he will be of satan

Funny....you consider the liar Malachi Martin "beloved" but throw Archbp. Lefebvre under the bus by placing him, and by extension the SSPX, in the same "schismatic" table as the sedevacantists.

SSPX is not in schism. And no, I'm not SSPX. I'm not FSSP.

"in Saint Malachy's vision God showed unto him all future popes Pope Benedict is the next to last pope"

There is a great deal of skepticism regarding the authenticity of this vision. The written details were not found until 1590 - over 400 years after the vision allegedly occurred. Prior to that time there was not even any mention of it in any record or in any biography of St. Malachy. The accuracy of the predictions regarding the popes who reigned prior to the first publication are remarkably accurate; most of those for the future popes are rather tenuous, at best. There is also some belief that the original document did not include the final entry, that of "Peter the Roman."

All in all, there is good reason to be skeptical of the authenticity of this alleged vision. It could well be the work of Satan attempting to deceive the faithful and cause panic and despair. And if it is valid, what does it matter to the faithful Catholic? We can't change the outcome, and if we live faithful Catholic lives, our souls will be ready for the end, whenever it comes -- and it is far more likely that the end will be our personal death than the end of time.

Heather, when I clicked the Play button on Part 1, it said, "An error occurred, please try again later." The same thing happened on Part 2. I'm at home, so I'm not behind a firewall. (E.g., my employer's firewall blocks YouTube.) Are others having the same problem?

John, both videos are playing today.
